At Mountain Top Counselling, our team is rooted in empathy, diversity, and a deep commitment to client care. Led by Emmett Aronson, a Yorkville University graduate with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, our approach is shaped by lived experience, cultural understanding, and over 15 years of work with youth and individuals from all walks of life.

We believe in meeting each client where they are, blending evidence-based practices with a belief in the power of spirituality, psychology, and personal growth. Our supportive, inclusive environment empowers every client to climb their own unique path toward healing and self-discovery.

Emmett
Aronson- BA, MACP, CCPA

Emmett Aronson is a graduate of Yorkville University's Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a bachelor in Youth Ministry at Prairie College. Emmett works with families, couples, children and youth on challenges such as grief and loss, anxiety and depression and biblical counselling. Emmett is trained in cognitive behaviour therapy, solution focused therapy, emotionally focused therapy, play therapy, group therapy, addiction and anger management. As a counsellor, he believes that spirituality, psychology and diversity are essential to creating a strong foundation to empower, encourage and strengthen each unique individual.

Kerri
Keith- MAMFT, CACFT Associate

Kerri Keith has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Briercrest Seminary. She is an Associate Member with the Canadian Association of Couple and Family Therapy. Kerri works with individuals, families, youth and children to provide support through various life events. Areas of practise include child and adolescent development, trauma, grief and loss, building healthy relationships, life transitions and spiritual issues. Kerri is trained in Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Kerri believes that hope and meaning can be found in the most difficult situations and challenges of life. She enjoys connecting with people, hearing their stories and coming alongside to empower their journey to wholeness.

Jasmine
Bester- BSW, RSW

Jasmine Bester is a Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers and a member of the Canadian Association of Social Workers. She completed her Bachelor of Social Work at Lakehead University. She offers individual counselling to adults who may be navigating; anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, burnout and more. Drawing from her trainings in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, Jasmine integrates evidence-based practices while incorporating clients lived experiences. Jasmine is passionate about providing a space that is both safe and dynamic- where insight and growth can unfold in a meaningful way.

Paul
Safi- RP (Qualifying), MACP, BSc (Honours)

Paul Safi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a BSc in Psychology from Carleton University. He’s passionate about helping clients turn inner struggles into lasting growth by discovering their resilience and strength.

 

Paul offers a grounded, supportive space where clients find help with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, and relationship challenges. He works with women and men navigating emotional or sexual abuse, grief, insecurity, toxic relationships, family dysfunction, identity concerns, performance-related stress, avoidance, and sex addiction.

 

Therapy with Paul is a safe place to experiment, make mistakes, learn, practice skills, and grow. Clients often gain stronger boundaries, emotional clarity, more secure relationships, and healing from trauma and conflict.

 

Paul draws on CBT, DBT, mindfulness, Somatic Experiencing, Attachment Theory, and inner child work to support personalized growth and recovery Including optional faith integration.

Florence
Fullerton - CACFT Associate, CCC member

Florence Fullerton is a registered Associate Member with the Canadian Association of Couple and Family Therapy and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) under the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She has a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and is working on her PhD in Clinical Psychology. Florence’s background is in addictions, grief, and trauma work. She has working experience with various cultures, and as a veteran of the RCAF she understands the challenges faced by military clients.

 

Florence’s approach is compassionate and client-centred, integrating her qualifications in Somatic Experiencing (SEI therapist), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Based Training, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Florence works with individuals (both youth and adults), couples and families from all walks of life to discover their own unique path to wellness through a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens.

 

Sometimes, clients come into counselling with experiences that have left them feeling helpless, powerless, or yearning for better ways to cope. Florence enjoys supporting clients in their journey of healing through a strength-based approach that helps clients grow their own insight, nurture their resiliency, and improve the relationships they have

Mason
Richaud - Life Coach

Mason Richaud is a speaker and life coach who believes that true leadership begins within. His journey hasn’t been easy — he’s faced the depths of depression and anxiety, and those experiences have become the foundation of his purpose: helping others find strength, clarity, and direction through life’s toughest seasons.

As a Certified Member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team, Mason blends powerful leadership principles with real-life lessons about courage, vulnerability, and resilience. His message is deeply personal — rooted in the belief that growth often begins in the moments we feel most lost.

Through his talks and coaching, Mason challenges others to live with intention, define their values, and set goals that align with who they truly are. He speaks openly about mental health, healing, and the journey to self-leadership — inspiring people to see that even in struggle, there is hope, purpose, and the power to lead yourself forward.

Mason’s authenticity and compassion create a space where others feel seen, heard, and encouraged to take the next step toward a life of meaning and confidence.
